Using Cellular At Sea

How does it work?

You can enjoy Cellular at Sea once the cruise ship reaches international waters, and your phone will display “Cellular at Sea” or “901” to indicate that service is available – just make sure to keep “Airplane Mode” OFF!

Calls, texts, and data are transmitted over satellite from ship to land.

Use your phone as normal to make and receive calls, texts, and use data services.

Service may experience disruptions as the ship moves closer to land or potential satellite outages.
