How to determine if your device is eSIM capable

iPhone (iOS)

Open Settings → tap Cellular (or Mobile Data in some regions). If you see an option like “Add eSIM” or “Add Cellular Plan”, your iPhone supports eSIM.
Or go to Settings → General → About. Scroll down and look for a field called EID (a long number) or Digital SIM. If EID appears, your device has eSIM capability.
Bonus quick test (works on most phones): Dial *#06# on the keypad. If an EID number shows up (along with your IMEI), it confirms eSIM support.

Android

Open Settings → go to Network & internet (or Connections on Samsung) → Mobile network or SIMs/SIM card manager. Look for an option like “Add eSIM”, “Download a SIM instead?”, or “Add mobile plan”. If you see it, your phone supports eSIM.
Bonus quick test (works on most phones): Dial *#06# on the keypad. If an EID number appears (a unique eSIM ID, often separate from your IMEI), your device supports eSIM.
